    We have put together this kit that every owner of a 99.5-03 7.3L should keep in their toolbox. Eventually, the 7.3 will develop a fuel or oil leak. It's one of those "not if but when" scenarios with the 7.3. Rather than having to run around town or hope the dealer has the parts you need without having to pay a fortune for their parts while your truck is down, be prepared and have the parts on hand. Don't worry about the o-rings drying out or cracking, The shelf-life of DuPont Viton is indefinite, they won't go bad from air, heat, sunshine or time. 

    What this kit includes:

    • A full set of Turbo pedestal (4) o-rings, both upper and lower
    • GTP38 turbo outlet o-ring
    • HPOP outlet fittings (4) o-rings, both internal and external
    • HPOP rear plug o-ring
    • HPOP reservoir fill plug o-ring
    • IPR to HPOP body o-ring
    • Head oil rail o-rings (8) for oil rail plugs, ICP or cross-over line
    • HPOP Hose to head internal o-rings (2)
    • Loctite 608 retaining compound (.5ml packet for HPOP and oil rail)

    Viton

    Differences between the black Viton or the Blue Fluorosilicone fuel drain o-rings sold on this page:

    • The black Viton o-rings are polymerized from two monomers, vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene (Viton type A).

    • The brown Viton o-rings  (Viton type B)are polymerized from three monomers, vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. The terpolymer blend of Viton has shown to have additional resistance to fuel permeation ans swell when used with ULSD and BioDiesel than standard Viton (A).

    • The Blue Fluorosilicone has a much wider temperature range than Viton (A) or Viton (B) and is widely used in extream environmental conditions. They will stay flexible in artic conditions down to -70º F.

    GTP-38 Main compressor housing o-ring - Genuine Garrett part# 403069-0199. O-ring for the seal between the main compressor housing and compressor back plate. If your housing o-ring is damaged or broken, boost will be severely compromised leading to higher EGTs and low performance.

    serviceable plugIf your "non-serviceable" plug at the bottom of the HPOP is leaking, it is probably due to the short threaded plug stripping the threads from the aluminum HPOP body. We now offer a new 'long threaded" plug made form high quality 303 stainless steel that when added to this kit is discounted from the regular price for only $26.38.

    Bosch has been manufacturing their new pumps with a "long threaded plug" for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years, thereby acknowledging the engineering defect that they have had on these pumps.

    This plug can sucessfully repair a HPOP "non-serviceable" plug that has completely stripped out the factory threads.

    The HPOP must be removed to replace the "non-serviceable" plug. The HPOP to front engine cover gasket is not reuseable and must be replaced.

Works good lasts a long time! DO NOT GET THE FORD METAL SNAP/RETAINER RINGS CONFUSED AS O RINGS! . Leave them on the truck oem parts and change the "RUBBER" O rings / seals only....Thanks for the help BOB..... Lee Starnes

This kit is the way to go. Took the guess work out for me. You know you've been there at the parts counter and the guy behind says, man I don't know. Or yeah that "looks" like what you need. Been there done that. Just nice to know on a Sunday when your tearin' it down you've got what you need and the right parts to do the job. If you ain't got one of the kits I'd grab one for a just in case. Man, what a life saver!

I'm so glad I did research online for the diesel leaking problem.. There are so many forums for ford and powerstroke..that's how I found this guy (Diesel-o-rings) I called around to the dealerships here in town ,and these guys were ridiculous.. plus they or nobody would even sell these o-rings for the drain valve on my fuel bowl.. they wanted to sell the entire valve.. the valve is not that hard to remove and well worth the wait of postal service delivery. the best 11 bucks I've ever spent. thanks, Bob Ray Perez San Antonio,TX 2001 F250 Superduty

If you want a great quality o-ring product, fast shipping and just a nice fella to boot, give Bob a call or order on-line. I purchased a turbo re-install kit and fuel sleeve from him and what a great product and company. My next purchase is his Mechanics Cabinet, all the o-rings you need if the unexpected happens. I bought the mechanics kit a while back, 5-6 months ago. Just now got around to getting into doing the fuel bowl (snow days). Anyway, after I got the fuel bowl off I could tell there was a leak. I would suggest to everyone to get a kit and change these out. Looking back, I wish I had done it when the kit first arrived, I have probably had $20 or so of diesel leak out over that period of time considering it is $3 a gallon. Best investment and money saver I have found for the truck yet. People don't know they are damaged until they get the fuel bowl out, mine were a disaster where the fuel lines go into the fuel bowl and the drain devise. Happy customer, thanks a million. A+
