I did a complete HPOP reseal so figured I'd do this too. C-clip was easy enough to get off, but getting the rear plate off was a pain. It is held in by hydraulic pressure, if your seal is still good like mine was. No way to hammer or pry it out. Eventually I pulled it out with a suction cup. I reinstalled using an arbor press to uniformly push down on the rear plate and compress the o-ring enough to get the snap ring to seat. (Posted on 5/1/2018)
