DO NOT APPLY ANY GASKET SEALANT ON THE FLANGE GASKETS.
I know of one owner that lost his Ball Bearing GTP-38R due to excess gasket sealant breaking off and working its way through the oil journals and made it to the turbo. It was enough to plug off the small orifice in the turbo's oil journal to cause a catastrophic failure of the turbo bearings.
