The 94 - 97 fuel bowl requires different sized o-rings than what is required for the 99 - 03 7.3L diesels. The differences are for the sensors, fuel regulator. This kit supplies you with 10 of the necessary Viton o-rings for the 1994/1995 models and 11 of the necessary Viton o-rings for the 1996/1997 7.3L diesels:
o-ring for the 7.3 fuel drain valve stem; Black Brown or Blue
o-rings for the 7.3 fuel drain valve; Black or Blue fluorosilicone
o-ring for the Water-in-Fuel sensor; Black
o-ring for the Fuel Heater; Black
o-rings for the Fuel Pressure Regulator; Black
o-rings for the Fuel Pressure Reg Screen; Black
The 96-97 fuel bowls have a bottom plug and they use a different size o-ring on the Pressure Regulaton bottom plug. The kit contains all of the o-rings needed for either the 94-95 or the 96-97 fuel bowl assemblies.
Order of 1 is a set of 12 o-rings, only use the o-rings necessary for your model.

- Brown Viton tri-monometer compound-Viton (B)
- Blue MilSpec M25988/2 Fluorosilicone.

From Parker Hannifin :
"In the automotive market, fluorosilicones are the seal material of choice for handling gasoline, E85, diesel fuel, biodiesel and ULSD at extremely low temperatures."Select the type of compound from the drop down at the bottom of the page.
Differences between the black Viton (A), Brown Viton (B) or the Blue Fluorosilicone fuel drain o-rings sold on this page:
- The black Viton o-rings are polymerized from two monomers, vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene (Viton (A).
- The brown Viton o-rings are polymerized from three monomers, vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. The terpolymer blend of Viton has shown to have additional resistance to fuel permeation ans swell when used with ULSD and BioDiesel than standard Viton (A).
- The Blue Fluorosilicone has a much wider temperature range than Viton (A) or Viton (B) and is widely used in extream environmental conditions. They will stay flexible in artic conditions down to -70º F.
Includes o-ring size identification comparison and location chart. Shipped with order.
